Update

Hey everyone!
Just a quick update with what I'm up to this week. I start with my new gym trainer tomorrow which I'm really looking forward to. His name is Brendan and he works for The Biomechanics group. That means the training will incorporate golf specific drills as well as strength and cardiovascular training. My week will include two sessions there, a one on one session on a Tuesday morning and a group session still doing my own program on a Wednesday night after work at Riverside. At the moment I'm getting three shifts there per week, each starting at 1pm and finishing at 6pm meaning I can practice, go to the gym or get to appointments beforehand.
Last week I caught up with my coach Sandy and we just worked on a couple of little things. One is continuing to strengthen my putting stroke and get the putter working back and through on at my ark but with the feel of it steming from the middle of my upper spine.
When I don't do this the putter fans out to the right on the way through so I have been working a lot on a chalk line, seeing the putter go back inside the line and also finish just inside it.
I have also just created a Gracie Lennon Golf facebook page for any of you who have facebook, please jump on and follow my progress here as well.
The link is https://www.facebook.com/g.lennon92

Thanks again to everyone for the support and I will touch base in the next week to update you with my progress,

Gracie

Home

Hey Everyone,
I'm into my second week back at home and it's great to be back, although quite a few degrees cooler!
Since finishing the tournament in Hong Kong  and returning from Asia I have come back and done a bit of an analysis on the trip with my Coach Sandy Jamieson.
It was great to make 3 cuts and that gives me confidence that I can compete, I just need to keep improving so that I can get myself in contention.
Over the next few months I will be targeting my fitness, and making my practice more competitive  and skill test based.
One thing I've really noticed is that being in good physical shape really helps mentally when your playing consecutive weeks in a row and travelling.
I've been back to Kingston Heath afew times and it's great to see you all there. I will be practicing between Kingston Heath and Commonwealth, and also working afew hours in the shop at Riverside.  Thankyou for your interest in me and I will keep you all up to date with my progress.
